After scoring hat-trick hits, Nithin is now ready to enthrall the audience with his next release Chinnadana Nee Kosam. The film is slated for December 25 release and Nithiin shares his thoughts about it.
Tell us about Chinnadana Nee Kosam…
It’s a feel good rom-com with Karunakaran’s signature style. The climax of the film has a surprise and I’m sure it will be loved by everyone.
Share us your experience working with Karunakaran…
Working with Karunakaran is like dream come true for me. Ever since his first film Tholi Prema, I admired him as a director and wanted to work with him. He was supposed to direct my debut film Dil but somehow it didn’t happen. His films have wonderful love stories and the way he designs the characters is remarkable. I had fantastic time working with him and I’m treasuring every moment of it.
We always thought of a fresh face ever since Karunakaran narrated the script. After watching Mishti Chakraborthy in Kaanchi and roped her in. She performed with ease and did justice to her role.
Why are you producing Akhil Akkineni’s movie?
My dad Sudhakar Reddy and Nagarjuna garu are good friends. Their friendship goes back to Yuvakuda days as we also acted as co-producers of the film. Akhil’s film has an interesting storyline and we first approached VV Vinayak to direct the film for which Nagarjuna garu also agreed to it.
What’s the status of Courier Boy Kalyan?
The shooting has been wrapped up and we are planning it to release in March, 2015.
Is it true that you are doing a film with writer Harshavardhan?
Harshavardhan is currently working on the script and taking his time to give the best. The project will go onto the sets sometime in 2015.
Aren’t you bored of working in love stories?
Yes, I too knew it and planning to do something different in my next project.
