Dhoni Bids Adieu To Test Cricket

Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni took an unprecedented decision. He has announced his withdrawal from Test cricket. In the four-match test series in Australia, India lost the series with a match to spare. This decision of Dhoni has shocked Indian cricket fans. Buzz is that, Dhoni will leave cricket completely after the coming World Cup. Recently, the former captain Sourav Ganguly advised Dhoni to retire from Test Cricket and better if Virat Kohli will be given test captaincy. However, Dhoni is not playing the final match against Australia starting from January 6th. It will be led by the vice-captain Virat Kohli.

Dhoni made his ODI debut against Bangladesh on 23 December in 2004. Within no time  Dhoni rose to fame. India won 20-20 World Cup in 2007, 2011 World Cup and Mini World Cup under Dhoni captaincy. Dhoni, however, is failing in recent times in marking victories in overseas, especially in test matches. Considering his age, Dhoni has decided to bid adieu to test cricket in advance, as per reports.
