Former Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa who was released from the Parappana Agrahara Central Prison in Bangalore arrived in Chennai on Saturday evening to a grand welcome from thousands of her supporters. AIADMK cadres, who had been waiting for Jayalalithaa on roadsides since morning braving the heavy rain, shouted "Amma… Amma" as her convoy proceeded to her Poes Garden residence from the airport.
